No reira tēnā koutou tēnā koutou tēnā tātou katoa

I whakapapa to Te Ātiawa and Ngāti Tama on my mother's side so love serving kaupapa Māori. Who I have worked with has been quite eclectic. From a Crown Entity to start-ups, NGO's, individuals and organisations both locally and internationally.

What motivates me is the opportunity to use my skill set for the greater good with the intention to create positive change. When I retire I would like to have worked hard using my communication ability to leave the world a better place.

I'm a strategist and a professional writer with more than 25 years of media, public affairs and communications experience. This has been gained from a raft of in-house management to external consultant roles.

I've been a magazine columnist and freelancer writing long and short format features for media outlets both in New Zealand and internationally. I've lined up talent, researched stories and produced audio visual content for placement on broadcasting and social media platforms.

In the communications realm, I've been engaged by clients in the finance/banking, tourism/aviation/leisure/hospitality, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), information technology, health/beauty and real estate/property development industries.

My core strength is having prudent and principled acumen combined with strong media and government networks.

I'm tertiary qualified to post graduate level with a Bachelor of Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations & Communications (Auckland University of Technology) and an Associate Member of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ).
